The 2026 Run to the Hills Car Show was full of smiles. It was absolutely one of our best shows ever!!! This show would not be the success that it is, if not for the Mountain Empire Members Club and the Pine Valley communities help and support in making it all possible. There was wonderful live music with the Whole Sha-bang Band, tons of spectators, a pile of interesting vendors, a silent auction with plenty of the regular items and some new tid-bits thanks to Ms. Gerry, so many to choose from.  The Sweepstakes was, as always, a big hit and many folks walked away with multiple items, thank you Karen, Cyndi, Lisa, Robby Jr., and Minerva. The T Shirts, hoodies and hats were selling like hot cakes, Dan, Tyler & Mckenze, enjoyed the fast pace and all the great conversations with the participants and spectators alike. We were so blessed to have our own MC; Mr. Chris was great all day long. The Kackle car fired off twice, so cool! We couldn’t have planned better weather, we had great volunteers, several of our sponsors (Check them out on our website) were on hand and the trophies went flying off the table to some of the most beautiful vehicles ever. Thank you Keith, Kenny, Charlie, and Keith 2.0. Mike Miller was there to hand over the coveted and beautiful Pal Joey’s Award of Excellence. We had golf carts shuttling everyone, who had enough courage to ride on them. Then there was Char looking good as our trophy girl. Happy 250^th anniversary of our Country.
